The Case for A Better Options Market

On 10/10 one of us was sitting at a desk knife-catching SOL as it wicked from 220 to 140. Got filled on an insane amount of size near the bottom and was selling it the next second.

The trade worked. It was also mostly luck, and a genuinely horrible few minutes to live through.

Plenty of people on perps that day had the same few minutes and no winning trade at the end of them. Now run the same day with an option instead.

At the bottom of the wick it's probably down something like 50% on paper. Ugly.

Then SOL comes back, and you're still holding it. Nobody liquidated you.
